My hometown…family, friends…life! Rainy Sundays like this make me homesick…daydreaming that if I’m home I’d be curled up on the sofa with a good book, either munching on Mama’s cookies or listening to Papa’s cds.
19 days more and I’ll be home for the holidays and all I could think of is food! food! food!
Anything grilled…fish, pork, talong, corn and bananas!
Crabs…we eat them steamed and with coconut milk
shrimps either sautéed w/ sprite and garlic or Sinigang na Hipon style
and for birthdays, fiestas, anniversaries anything worth celebrating…we always have these on the table:
ugh…I can’t wait to get home..I’ll think about my diet after New Years 🙂
