Climbed last February 18 with Ian, I had to practically drag him to come with me for my quest for the elusive clearing (sea of clouds). Some actually are lucky, they are able to see it the first time they scaled the summit. Me, this is my second climb and every time, it rains 😦
Trek to Camp 2 only took me an hour and 40mins, stayed inside Ian’s tent the whole night (got 12hrs of sleep!)
But even though I wasn’t able to see my sea of clouds, I met new friends and future climbing buddies 🙂
And I will still climb Mt. Pulag even if it takes me more than 3 climbs to see the clearing (oh, I forgot…might climb on March 31 and I will take Akiki Trail this time 🙂 )
