Making a Pinoy out of Rojax

He loves rice now, paired with Adobo or anything else he cooks at home. I think his Caldereta was a disaster, although he won’t admit. He keeps telling me it was nice….pfffttt.. He learned how to make Lumpia Shanghai, is going to practice making Pancit Bihon. He already bought soy sauce, vinegar and seasoning he found in Asian stores that I use at home so he can mimic the taste and flavor on the dishes he’s cooking.

Oh, and he loves sisig πŸ˜€

When he visited February, I went on a 3-week leave and we went home to Calbiga.

He wanted to experience street food, so we went a few houses down to a friend who sells these….

I wanted him to taste Mama’s Caldereta. They’re the bestest! πŸ˜€

Where did we go? Mostly, we just stayed at home. that’s for him to experience what it’s like to live in a sleepy hometown.

And wake up early in the morning to buy these ❀

Freshly baked and bought right out of the oven…literally!

By the 3rd day we were there, HE was the one waking me up and reminding me that we should go get the bread.

Let him eat my all-time favorite snack πŸ™‚

So how did I make a Pinoy out of Rojax?

Simple…I dragged him home to Calbiga πŸ˜€

And one other thing…

I let him ride the jeepney πŸ˜›
