Park and Camp: Mt Franklin Regional Park

After an impromptu idea from the Rojax, we scampered around looking for a tent on sale (since I didn’t want to buy anything over 60 and I wanted quality) and we found what we needed in Aussie Disposals.

And so off we go the next morning and it was a nice drive up.

After nearly an hour of driving, we saw the view of Mt Franklin from the road

Looking at all those clusters of pine trees, I knew we picked a good spot and it’s going to be shady…at least 🙂

After we found a bit shady and vacant spot, we parked and set out to laying the tent and whatnot.

It was a hot day but it still looked pretty…

Went to Daylesford first, just drove through since I was curious what the town looked like. I kept hearing things that it was pretty and I wanted to see for myself. and I was not disappointed. It had an old town feel and I loved it!

  1. Did Rich show you our farm Blue Cliff Retreat? Google it if he didn’t. Looks like you’re having fun camping.
